Also, the series five episode of Doctor Who, Vampires in Venice was also set in Venice.

On the way from Prague to Venice we recommend to make a stop in the town Cesky Krumlov protected by UNESCO and than in the Austrian town Salzburg, that is also protected by UNESCO.
It is also possible to spend 1 night in Salzburg and than to go on to Venice in Italy.
