It is a 4 hour city tour of 3 historical districts of Prague from the 18th and the 19th centuries. All of them in the vicinity of the oldest medieval parts of Prague on the right bank of the river.

Karlin, a district that has undergone the greatest changes in recent years, the old district, which is adorned by the church of St. Cyril and Methodius, or the school near the park. Typical are wide streets, big parks, small cafes.
There are a lot of new office buildings occupied by banks, startup companies. It is a district full of ambitious, young people. Also a place for gourmands, it comes alive mainly in the afternoon and early evening, quality gastropubs remind us the streets of Berlin. The Vltava River is nearby, there are many parks, famous pub Přístav 18600 (Port 18600).
There is a famous cycle path around the Vltava river.
There is on the outskirts of Karlin the Invalidovna, where was made the movie Amadeus by Milos Forman in 1984, while awaiting reconstruction, it opened its doors to the public.
It was founded lihe the district called in German the Karolinenthal in the year 1817 and named after the wife of the emperor Francis I, Karolina Augusta.
The district was in 1921 merged with the capital.
The imaginary wall od the Karlin district is the stone viaduct built in the years 1846-1850 by the famous railway company. So-called Northern Railway Hop. It is 1110 meters lond and it was in its time the longest bridge in Europe, only until 1910.
Since the year 1897 it has the tram line, that was designed and owned by the sientist Frantisek Krizik that used to work with T. A. Edison.
In the years 1731-1737 was built the Invalidovna for 4000 war invalids with their families. They built one ninth of the intended object. The architects were Fischer von Erlach and K.I. Diezenhofer.
There were built a lot fo very modern buildings. The most famous one is the Main point, designed at the studio "atelier Dam". In the year 2011 it was awarded the best office building in the world...... there are a living garden, a cafe on the floor, a corporate gallery, 10 above-ground and 3 underground floors.
The flood of 2002 washed away the old quarter Karlin and allowed the famous architects to convert old factories into galleries, apartments, offices, shops...
Zizkov District is famous with the largest number of pubs in the world per number of population of this district, exatly it is 1 pub every 50 steps.
There is also the anti-nuclear shelter from the Communist time, it is a complex in the Parukarka underground (St. Cross Hill) in Prague's Zizkov. The complex was built between 1950 and 1955 and was designed to shelter approximately 5,000 people. Five access corridors and two ventilation towers lead to the shelter, which can also be used as an emergency exit. The complex is equipped with its own source of electricity, water and air conditioning.
