We had a great time in Prague. I want to thank you for your help in finding my wife's ancestors. It was great fun to see the houses where they lived and actually find a distant relative (Mr. Klima). I received an email from Miroslav Klima (the son) a few days ago. He sent scanned copis of pictures of his grandfather/grandmother & a copy of Mr. Drazdik's birth certificate. I am enclosing a copy of the birth certificate. It would be greatly appreciated if you could translate the certificate for me.
Thank you again for your help during our visit to Prague.
Thank you very much,
Kim Fudge

Dear Edita,
Thank you so very, very much for a most wonderful time in Prague. I hope I
can send more people to you and your beautiful city. It was absolutely
outstanding. And, the concert was the highlight of the trip. Some people
even cried it was so wonderful. I just returned home yesterday, and
hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks will write about the trip - I will copy
you in on what I say.
If you ever get to California, please let us know. I would love to show
you my territory!
Take care and again many, many thanks. You are terrific.
Best regards,
Michelle

We have arrived safely home in San Francisco, and I had to sadly return to
my work today.
Our time with you in Prague was wonderful. Getting to know Prague through
your eyes was the best.
Thank you so much for you hard work and dedication into making our trip
wonderful.
All the best,

Edita,
I just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with Pavel and our trip to
Prague. The Grand Hotel Bohemia was superbly equiped for handicapped guests.
Everything went smoothly--the weather even cooperated on our day in Prague.
Unfortunately, the Hotel de France in Vienna had given their handicapped room
to someone else (even though we had reserved it) and they finally moved us to
an acceptable room at the Renaissance. This was, of course, not your fault.
Everything you set up for us was great. Pavel could not have been more
helpful-he was exceptional.
I will recommend your agency to anyone I know who wants to go to the Czech
Republic.
Thank you again.

Ms. Edita Machova has been working with the Prague office of our law firm since 1994 as a tour guide and organizer of out-of-town visits for our foreign partners, clients and other guests who come to visit our office.
During the whole period within which we have been using her services, Ms. Machova has shown outstanding knowledge of the Czech history, monuments, culture and sights. At the same time, she has also shown flexibility and understanding of the preferences of our visitors. Due to such abilities and in connection with her perfect knowledge of English and organizational capability, Ms. Machova has always managed to arrange an attractive and interesting program for our visitors. Their satisfaction has contributed a great deal to the overall success of such visits.
Therefore, we may definitely recommend her services.

Dear Sirs,
My partner and I enjoyed a private tour of Prague by Edita. I wanted to advise you that we both found the tour extremely interesting and fascinating. Our enjoyment of the tour was a result of the in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide Edita.
With many thanks for a most interesting tour of your beautiful city.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Michael T Lynch

Edita,
Thank you so much for our wonderful tour of Prague. You are very professional, knowledgeable, and responsive to our questions and requests. You quickly personalized our tour to suit our interests while making sure we saw the best of the city. When we got our pictures back, I was reminded of our walk around the riverside area below the Charles bridge. That gave us a wonderful perspective of the bridge and the river while showing us the magnitude of the recent floods. It was very meaningful to us and greatly appreciated. You have a beautiful city and we felt privileged to have you present it to us.
I must also tell you that our trips to and from Karlovy Vary were excellent. I apologize but I have forgotten our driver's name. He was wonderful; he was there to pick us up before the scheduled time, both ways, and, then, drove us in a safe and comfortable manner. While looking out the window of the van, enjoying the passing scenery, all I could think of was how much nicer this was than trying to deal with trains and buses and taxis. I would strongly recommend it as the way to go.
Again, we have wonderful, beautiful memories of your country and city and we owe much of that to you. Thanks,
Doug Lawton, John Rogers, and Phyllis Holloway

Dear Edita,
I have attached a scanned image of the Czech family that I spoke about over the phone last week. This family helped to care for my father-in-law, Lester Biwersi, after Lester was freed from a German prison camp by the Russians in early May 1945. We believe this family lived approximately 30 to 50 kilometers south or southeast of Dresden. Lester died in August 1990. Lester's widow (my mother-in-law) is still living and is curious to learn what happened to this nice Czech family. If we can locate the family, we would like to correspond with them.
Lester Biwersi was born in 1912 in Dane, Wisconsin (near Madison). He was drafted into the US army in 1942. He was a rifleman in the US 82nd Infantry. He participated in the invasion at Omaha Beach in Normandy in June 1944 and the Liberation of Paris in August 1944. He was captured by the Germans near Luxembourg in the Battle of the Bulge about December 18, 1944. Lester was transported by train to prison camp Stalag IV-B near Mühlberg (between Leipzig and Dresden). Lester was first forced to work in a factory that produced roofing tiles. Later, in the Springtime of 1945, he was forced to help clear the rubble and dead bodies from the bombing of Dresden. He was near Dresden when the Russians advanced into Germany in May 1945. The Russians told the prisoners to move behind the combat line since the Russians planned to advance toward Berlin. Lester and three other prisoners walked "about 20 miles toward Czechoslovakia" according to Lester when I recorded him in an int!
erview in 1983. Lester was very thankful for the help that this Czech family gave him. He was skin and bone at that point and weighed only 98 pounds. He had dysentery and was full of lice from the prison camp. Lester said the names of the couple were "Fritz and Louisa" (that is what the names sounded like to him in English) and remembered that Louisa took very good care of him and that she was a very good cook. Lester stayed with this family for about 3 or 4 weeks until he could be transported to a US Army base in France in June 1945.
On the back of the photogragh, the following names are written in pencil:
rod Hubeny
p Dojickova máma
p Füssel táta
p Járinská
Please let me know if you need more clarification. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Dale Thompson

Dear Edita,
We have all returned to the USA and our time in Prague a memory.
I wanted to thank you for the excellent tour of Kutna Hora. It
was the highlight of the trip.
Thank you so much for returning our guide book. I hope it didn't
inconvenience you too much. We all think that it was the best

Edita,
I just wanted to thank for you for all your help. Have the marriage proposal at Cesky Sternberk was magical and the private dinner in Kutna Hora was perfect. The champagne glasses are beautiful and will be something we cherish. Having the private tours, private boat ride, and all the transfers was great. It is hard to say what was our favorite part because the entire trip was amazing. Everything was arranged just right, and this was the best vacation Reagan and I have ever had. It will certainly give us many fond memories as we start our married life together. Thank you so much for everything!
Good luck. I will recommend your services to anyone else I know who goes to Prague.

Dear, dear Edita,
Thank you so much for the fabulous time you showed us on our stay in Prague. It was our favorite city of the ones we visited. Dan and I and my parents said we definitely want to come back and stay there for a week.
I hope we didn’t wear you out too much! We could hardly walk the next day after we walked the Castle and the Little Quarter, but we LOVED every minute of it.
Thank you so much for being such a wonderful person and a fantastic guide. I’ll send you some photos.

Dear Edita: I wanted to let you know how glad we were to have taken your tours and how much we enjoyed them. The concentration camp (Terrizen?) was an experience we'll never forget. Milan, our driver, was great, very prompt, on time and helped us at the airport making sure we knew where to go and helped with our luggage. He is very personable and speaks English very well. Martina was absolutely fantastic. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable wherever we went but picked interesting and great places for us to see. She seemed to know exactly what we would like and explained the history and pointed out the most important things for us. Martina is friendly, has a wonderful sense of humor and we felt extremely lucky to have her for our guide. Please tell Martina and Milan how much we appreciated them for making our trip to Prague so special. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Sue, Reed and Scott McClintock

Dear Edita:
Sorry for the belated message but just got back to the United States two days ago and have been busy relaying the engagement news to our friends and family.
I just want to thank you very much for the hardwork associated with the well executed gameplan for my surprise marriage proposal to my girlfriend (opps, it should be fiance now). My girlfriend loved every aspect of the evening (Private tour of Cesky Sternberk followed by horse carriage ride around Kutna Hora and topped off by romantic candle-lit dinner). Seeing the joy in her eyes makes EVERY PENNY spent on this well-worth it. I would recommend your service to anybody who wants to have a great time in Prague and surround areas!
Thanks again,
Roger

Dear Edita:
Please call the restaurant and apologize. We did not keep the reservation. The boat from the Nelahozeves chateau did not get back to the dock until 9:15 PM. and we had too much food ordered for the boat. We did have a most wonderful time. Thank you for all you did to make our romantic day so special.
Sue and Ron
Dear Edita,
Thank you for organizing a perfect wedding proposal. Everything was super and we are still enjoying the moment. My compliments for everything you did!
I Noticed you were making pictures on the bridge? Could I receive these fotographs by e-mail?
Thank you and kind regards,
Diderik
Hi Edita,
Thank you for the great tour on Saturday last week. On Sunday I went back to St. Vitus for mass at 11am which was neat because there was no one else allowed in the cathedral, so it was almost empty, the Strahov Monastery to see the libraries, and to the Loreto to see the jewels. Both were fascinating. That afternoon I saw a concert at St. George’s Basilica.
I will never forget my tour in Prague and all the amazing details of Prague’s history that you explained.
Hope to come back sometime.
Take care,
Steve Elson

Good morning Edita,
Thank you for providing us with our wonderful guide Ivana. She was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a very informed experience. Her delightful personality made our time together even more enjoyable. Lubos is an expert driver and it is a wonder to me that he can drive on some of those narrow streets.
Be well and stay safe.

My sister in law and I were lucky enough to have as our guide in Prague this summer Edita Machova'. Edita had been highly recommended by some of our American friends who'd also engaged her services as a guide in the past.
As a rule I prefer to do my own research when I travel, as I'm an actor and find great joy in doing research on a role. But no amount of research I have ever done could equal Edita's great and broad knowledge of so many aspects of her beautiful city of Prague. We thought we had allotted a a fair amount of time, reasonable enough to "do" the city justice. We were dead wrong. Edita so enriched our all too short a time in this fabulous place, that I
can't imagine how much we would have missed without her. As I have a couple of bad knees,I had engaged Edita and a driver. A real bit of luck,as it rained two or three days, and and yet we really felt we "saw" Prague in a deeply personal way,and Edita had so much to do with that. Best money I spent in Europe and wonderful memories of our trip to Prague.
Thank you,Edita.

Dear Edita
We wanted to thank you for taking us around for the day in Prague. We had a wonderful time and you provided us with historical and social context that helped us to understand the complex changes that Prague and the region has undergone since the 9th century!
We wish you well and trust that you will be busy during the summer season.
Kindest regards, Suzanne & Peter
