It is possible to see there the world largest creche that covers around 60 m² and contains 1389 figures of humans and animals, of which 133 are moveable, it is about 100 years old.

This picturesque town of approximately 23 000 inhabitants lies in South East Bohemia by the River Nezarka, 55 km to the north east of Ceske Budejovice and 25 km north of the border with Austria. It sits at an altitude of 478 metres above sea level. The centre of the town is home to the Vajgar recreation pond. Jindrichuv Hradec is a prominent Czech monument that is also able to boast some outstanding countryside.
History
Jindrich I - Henry was the oldest son of Vitek of Prcice, founder of the line of lords of Hradec. He owned the Jindrichuv Hradec estate as of 1220. Indeed it is from this year that we find the oldest written report of Hradec. Jindrich built a Gothic castle on the site of a fortified settlement and so a town developed from the original craft-trade settlement at the foot of the castle in the middle of the 13th century. The town took its name after Jindrich himself. The emblem of the town to this day consists of a golden rose on a blue background, complemented by two royal lions and the initial W with a crown (the privilege of King Vladislav II). The lions and W were added in the year 1483. Possession of the town changed hands between three feudal families down the ages: the Lords of Hradec until 1604, then the Slavats until 1693, and finally the Cernin family.

Originally a small castle dating from the late 12th century , gradually expanded into a large complex.
The castle flourished especially in the 16th century .
In the oldest part of the castle you can see the unique wall paintings.
What you can see there – Adam´s building – original Renaissance premises with so-called green rooms.
The medieval castle – the oldest part of the castle, unique wall paintings featuring the legend of st. George ( 1337) , a painting of Jindrichuv Hradec Madonna ( around 1460) , the black kitchen.
The visit culminates in a garden surrounded with rich stucco decorations from the 16th century.
