The town of Manetin lies beneath Chlum Hill in the valley of manetin stream. Given its valuable Baroque buildings and the large number of artistically high-quality Baroque statues it has been compared to Kuks and called the "Baroque Pearl" of West Bohemia.
In the townlet of Manetin, the south side of the square is closed by an L-shaped two storeyed mansion. It received its present Baroque appearance after a 1712 fire in the course of the reconstruction carried out according to a project by T. Hafenecker for the noble Lazansky of Bukova family, which possessed the mansion until 1945. In addition, to the original Baroque mobiliary and aristocratic portaits, this site´s features include 13 portraits of mansionś servants dating back to 1716-1717.

The palace halls are decorated with frescos. The 1730 Apotheosis of Virtued and Muses is accompanied by Rococo allegories of Seasons and Elements by J. Lux.
The mansion south front opens into the reconstructed Baroque garden which is followed up with the park. On the mansion´s goundfloor, it is possible to call at the restaurant. Dotted with Baroque sculptures, the town of Manetin has been proclaimed a coservation zone.
