The castle Pernstejn - a monumental construction which is situated above the confluence of Svratka and Nedvedicka rivers. In chronicles the castle is first mentioned in 1258 and for several following centuries it was the property of the Pernstejn dynasty. This dynasty used to support the development of the whole Bystrice region. In the following centuries the castle was reconstructed and thanks to the fact that it has never been conquered it is nowadays one of the most beautiful and best preserved sights of the country.
