Konopiste castle
This castle was the last residence of the archduke Franz Ferdinand d´Este, who was assassinated in Sarajevo in 1914 along with his Czech wife, the event that started World War I. It houses valuable art collections and the third largest armoury in Europe. A viewing of the private rooms of Franz Ferdinand´s family is a highlight and must be booked in advance. It is closed in winter.

UNESCO NUMBER ONE IN EUROPE
Cesky Krumlov is situated on the River Vltava with the ancient town center on one bank and the castle ground on the other bank. The landmark of the panorama of the town is Cesky Krumlov Castle which consists of two parts: the Lower castle with a round tower (built in the 13th century) and the Upper castle, built in the 14th century. The castle was expanded several times. Later, the owners made some Baroque modifications: the chapel was rebuilt, masquerade hall decorated and a new manor theatre built. After Prague Castle, it is the second most outstanding castle in the Czech Republic. The magnificent interiors of the castle are open to the public (historical interiors--two sight-seeing routes). The castle´s viewing tower and exhibition rooms are also open to the public. You can also see the Museum of the famous painter Egon Schiele in the town.

Telc
The area below the lord´s estate , from which a Romanesque church tower has been preserved , existed probably already in the 11th cetury. In the mid 13th century , a structure of ponds and fortification was created , forming together a fortress protected by water . The unique appearance of the square is a result of the mixture of Renaissance and Baroque facades with Gothic bases and narrow ground plans.

We will take you around the best preserved original medieval Jewish quarter in Europe, to the local old Jewish cemetery and the Basilica of St. Procopius that remind us the co-existence of Jewish and Christian cultures and are protected by UNESCO.

Lednice (UNESCO) and Valtice (UNESCO) - cultural landscape The Lednice-Valtice region is a unique example documenting a gradual influance of human work on landscape , having its climax from the 17th to 19th century. The cultural landscape creates an illusion of being magnified by creating view of surroundings . It represents a unique value for its dendrology and entomology and includes seven natural preserves.

Mikulov - seeing the museum of wine production ( the X. Roman legion had the fortified camp here and there was found by the archeologists the wine knife - the 3rd century )in the castle. The town is the birthplace of the former president of Austria Adolf Scahrf ( he was president in the years 1957-65. There is also the famous MOravian Jewish museum and the Jewish Quarter that is possible to visit.
