DAY 1
Nelahozeves castle
This castle has returned to the private ownership
of the Lobkowicz family. There is the permanent
exhibition entitled Private Spaces: A Noble Family
at Home. The village is the birthplace of renowned
composer Antonin Dvorak. It is open every day
except Mondays.
You can get there either by the vehicle, or by the private boat from Prague in 3,5 hours.
Terezin concentration camp
The former military town Terezin changed during WWII into the concentration camp nowadays with
its museums, secret prayer room, the Jewish
cemetery, columbarium and crematorium and the
Small Fortress former military prison and during the WWII used as the political prison, remind us of the sad part of European
history. It is open every day. The crematorium is closed on Saturdays.
Litomerice historical town
The medieval town Litomerice with its churches and historic cellars surrounded by the beautiful mountains called the Czech Central Mountains.

The boat trip from Litomerice to Usti nad Labem.
The visit and possible lunch at the castle Strekov with the great view from the restaurant terrace over the river Elbe/Labe.
