Day 1
Tabor
The old medieval town from the 14th century Hussite times. The medieval underground passages , totalling around 14km in length , originating in the linking of the extensive two and three storey cellars of the townhouses above. The temperature underground varies around 10 degrees C/ 50 degrees F all year.
Hluboka
Overlooking the River Vltava , there is the monumental structure of the romantic Hluboka Castle. The Castle was built around the middle of the 13th century and later purchased by the Schwarzenberk family, it was rebuilt several times. The latest modification in the Romantic style of the so-called Winsdor Gothic carried out between 1839 and 1871 transformed Hluboka into a representative residence of the Schwarzenberks. Representative interiors contain rare collections of Flemish tapestries, weapons, furniture and paintings. This is the most beautiful castle in the Czech Republic.

Holasovice - historical village The first written document of its existence dates back to 1263. There were 20 estates in the village that gained the appearance of South-Bohemian folk Baroque as we know it today between 1840 and 1880 . The impressive urban complex of the village with a spacious rectangular village square is lined with a cosistent line of houses creating an impressive architectonic work of a unified concept.

Day 2
Ceske Budejovice and Budweiser brewery
Ceske Budejovice, the regional capital of South Bohemia, was founded in 1265 by the Czech King Premysl Otakar II. The town is situated at the confluence of the Rivers Vltava and Malse in open country. In the centre of the town there is a magnificent square, one of the largest in Europe. Perhaps the best known enterprises here are the Budvar brewery and the KOH-I-NOOR pencil factory. It is possible to tour the Budvar ( Budweiser ) brewery and taste the original Budvar-Budweiser ( 12% proof ) in some of the local pubs. During the tour you will hear about the process for beer production which uses the excellent local water drawn from the artesian wells more than 300 m deep, you will see how the fresh mash and wort originate and how the full taste and smell of the beer develops with a characteristic for long-lasting foam using original Budvar yeast . Besides the premium lager, Budvar produces three other kinds of lighter and alcohol-free beer with a speciality of extra strong beer namely Bud that is 16% proof . Budvar has about 250 trademarks registred in more than 80 countries .

Cesky Krumlov
UNESCO NUMBER ONE IN EUROPE
Cesky Krumlov is situated on the River Vltava with the ancient town center on one bank and the castle ground on the other bank. The landmark of the panorama of the town is Cesky Krumlov Castle which consists of two parts: the Lower castle with a round tower (built in the 13th century) and the Upper castle, built in the 14th century. The castle was expanded several times. Later, the owners made some Baroque modifications: the chapel was rebuilt, masquerade hall decorated and a new manor theatre built. After Prague Castle, it is the second most outstanding castle in the Czech Republic. The magnificent interiors of the castle are open to the public (historical interiors--two sight-seeing routes). The castle´s viewing tower and exhibition rooms are also open to the public. You can also see the Museum of the famous painter Egon Schiele in the town.
